Audi City Retail UI and Motion Design

Audi is preparing automobile sales for the future and is adding a new format to its dealer networks in the 2010s: Audi City. For this extraordinary project, 28 technology info films were produced, which illustrate the most important vehicle technologies such as S-tronic or tiptronic to the visitor without acoustic aids. The trailers in 3-4 minute format were conceived as a combination of explanatory CGI part and real film, followed by a concluding summary part of the user benefits. The films were produced in close cooperation with the relevant technical departments at Audi in Ingolstadt.

Audi City is designed as a salesroom without real products. The vehicles are presented exclusively on the interactive fully digital walls of the showroom. The user interface design and the development of the user experience of this gesture-controlled power wall was one of my tasks in the project.
