Animation concept and implementation for MCBW 2024
The visual appearance of MCBW 2023 was based on the basic shapes of circle, square and triangle, which were flexibly arranged in bright colors. For the MCBW Keyvisual 2024 this principle was developed further and taken to a new level with an animated key visual.
While the geometric shapes previously stood statically next to each other, the 2024 animation shows a dynamic interplay. The shapes now interact “cooperatively” – they flow into each other, merge and form new, organic structures. This flowing transition is supported by gentle colour gradients that symbolize a natural connection and development.
The animated key visual plays a central role here: it visualizes natural growth in an orderly world. The basic geometric shapes, symbolizing order and structure, evolve over the course of the animation and illustrate how creativity and nature can fit into an existing system and enrich it. This growth never appears chaotic, but harmonious and organic – a conscious expression of the symbiosis between man, nature and design.
